A natural and organic inspiration
Launched in late 2022, Anaïs LF's series Le chemin, les vagues is inspired by natural palettes and organic pigments derived from powdered rocks. These earthy, desaturated, and subtle hues create a unique harmony between warm and cool colors, giving the works an authentic depth.

Crossings and moving waves
This series explores fluid and sensual movements, with intersecting forms. Anaïs LF superimposes layers, sometimes letting lines dry before painting over them, symbolizing intertwining and encounters. It is no longer just the colors that intersect, but the movement itself, marking an evolution in her art: she now focuses her attention on her own gesture rather than that of the painting.

A connection between path and waves
Intitulée Le chemin, les vagues, cette série reflète l’évolution artistique d’Anaïs LF. Le "chemin" évoque son parcours et le mouvement de chaque coup de pinceau. Les "vagues", avec leurs courbes abstraites, traduisent son lien à la mer et son besoin de s’y reconnecter. Cette série prend naissance à une période où l’artiste faisait des allers-retours fréquents entre Paris et Granville. Après son retour définitif à Granville, elle intensifie son travail sur cette thématique.

Une Évolution Technique et Artistique
The artist explores new techniques, using broad, flat brushes inherited from his family's connection to woodworking. The canvases are carefully prepared with a thick base of gesso or tinted acrylic paint, allowing for dynamic, textured traces. This approach highlights the balance between mastery and spontaneity.
